The Club
Kiwanis International’s mission is to Serve the Children
of the World. While this is our scope, the children of our own
community are our first priority. The Kiwanis Club of Toms River
Daybreak does many projects to maintain this effort for local
families in need: Car Seat/Booster Seat donations, back to school
clothing, holiday parties and gifts, supporting scouting efforts,
sponsoring Central Regional and Monsignor Donovan Key Clubs (high
school Kiwanis), house clean up and rebuilding projects, and more.

Our
club was organized in 1989, and chartered in February 1990. We
were formed as a breakfast group from the original Kiwanis Club
of Toms River that was chartered in 1924. The evening club meets
for dinner at the Old Time Tavern in Toms River every 2nd and
4th Monday of the month at 6:15 p.m.
